Collectingshould besimple.
A calm, fixed-price sports card marketplace for structured player lots. Built for collectors who value clarity over chaos.
Why PlayerLots exists
I started PlayerLots because I wanted my two kids — ages 10 and 11 — to fall in love with collecting cards. Not learn how to gamble.
I looked for a marketplace that fit, and couldn't find one. Breaks are loud and built on chance — you pay for a slot and hope for the best. eBay has 30 million+ listings, bid wars, sellers who pull listings mid-auction, and no consistency from one purchase to the next. Neither felt like a place I'd want to introduce my kids to the hobby.
So I built something simpler. A place where inserts, parallels, relics, and numbered cards can matter without being $1,000 cards, and without drowning in base. Fixed prices, every card shown, tracked shipping on every order. Sellers keep 91–92% of the sale — lower fees than most platforms take.
PlayerLots exists to put collecting first. That's it.
What player lots are
A player lot is 3–5 sports cards of the same player, sold at a fixed price between $10–$100. Every listing shows the exact cards included — what you see is what you get.
Player lots sit between buying singles and participating in breaks. You get multiple cards of a player you actually collect, at a price you know before you claim it, shipped in a bubble mailer with tracking.
Fixed Pricing
$10–$100 in set tiers. You evaluate the cards, not the bidding strategy.
Multiple Cards at Once
3–5 cards of the same player in a single lot — built around who you collect.
Exact Cards Shown
Every listing shows the specific cards included. No surprises, no guessing.
Predictable Format
Same lot sizes, same price tiers, same shipping standards. Easy to compare across sellers.
How player lots compare
What we stand for
Every lot follows the same rules. Same size options, same price tiers, same shipping standards. That predictability is the point — it makes buying faster and selling simpler.
We're not trying to increase "engagement." We're trying to reduce uncertainty so collectors can transact with confidence.
If we do our job well, PlayerLots feels obvious — and quietly reliable. If it ever starts feeling loud, we're doing it wrong.
Clarity over persuasion
Plain language, visible rules, and consistent systems — not hype.
Trust, built slowly
Predictable processes matter more than clever tactics.
Collectors first
We assume buyers and sellers know what they're doing. We respect their time.
Boring, on purpose
A calm sports card marketplace is a feature — not a limitation.
