Terms and
Conditions
The rules of the house, in plain English. These terms govern how buyers and sellers list, claim, pay for, and ship sports card lots on PlayerLots.
What PlayerLots is, and what it isn’t.
A short preamble that explains the shape of the marketplace before you agree to anything in the clauses that follow.
PlayerLots is a fixed-price, lot-based marketplace for sports cards. Listings, pricing, shipping, and transaction flows are governed by platform-defined rules and policies.
By using PlayerLots, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
How listings, prices, and shipping are framed.
PlayerLots is deliberately narrow: fixed tiers, fixed lot sizes, and shipping rules that are decided before a buyer ever reaches checkout.
- Lots are sold at fixed prices chosen from platform-defined tiers ($5-$100 in $5 increments)
- Sellers select a price tier but may not set arbitrary prices
- Shipping is charged at actual cost and shown before payment
- Lots $20+ ship BMWT with tracking; lots $5-$15 may ship via PWE ($2 flat)
What we ask of the people doing the claiming.
Buying a lot is a one-tap affair - but the commitment that tap carries is real. These are the obligations that come with it.
Buyers agree to:
- Provide accurate account and payment information
- Complete payment within the claim window
- Follow platform policies for claims, disputes, and feedback
Failure to do so may result in account restrictions or suspension.
What we ask of the people doing the listing.
Sellers set the tone of the marketplace. Accurate listings, prompt shipping, and honest tracking are the baseline - not the aspiration.
Sellers agree to:
- List lots accurately and according to platform definitions
- Ship within 3 business days using required shipping methods
- Upload valid tracking within 24 hours of shipment
- Follow platform image and content rules
How money moves on the platform.
Payments are taken at checkout and released on the other side of a confirmed delivery. The rules below describe that flow.
- Buyers pay the lot price plus shipping at checkout
- Seller payouts are calculated automatically based on platform rules
- Payouts are released after shipment and delivery are confirmed
- Platform fees and shipping adjustments are applied automatically
When - and when not - a return is accepted.
PlayerLots protects buyers from objective problems, not from buyer’s remorse. The line is drawn deliberately.
Returns are accepted only for objective issues:
- Incorrect lot shipped
- Lot does not match the listing
- Damage incurred during transit
Returns are not accepted for subjective dissatisfaction or preference.
How disagreements between buyers and sellers are resolved.
PlayerLots is the referee. The process is intentionally short and the decisions are final.
- The platform may review disputes and request supporting information from both parties
- Dispute decisions are final
- Abuse of the dispute process may result in account restrictions
When we intervene on an account.
The platform reserves the right to act when behavior threatens the health of the marketplace for everyone else on it.
The platform may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts for:
- Policy violations
- Fraudulent behavior
- Abuse of platform systems
How these terms might evolve.
Marketplaces change. These terms will change with them - and continued use is how you tell us the updates are fine.
We may update these Terms & Conditions over time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
