The 8% fee is all-inclusive - Stripe processing absorbed. On BMWT lots you contribute a flat $1 toward the tracked label - the same on every order, regardless of distance. That is the entire deduction.
BMWT shipping contribution
Buyers are charged an extra $2 at checkout. That $2 passes directly to you in your payout to cover PWE postage (actual stamp is roughly $0.73 - $1.00, you keep the difference). The platform does not purchase a label for PWE lots.
Bubble mailer with USPS tracking. The buyer pays the actual USPS cost for the distance - rounded up to the nearest 50¢ ($5.50 in this band) - and you add a flat $1. Those combined funds buy a real Shippo label; the platform generates it, you print it, pack the cards, and ship.

Each platform calculates fees on a different base - eBay on the total sale including buyer-paid shipping and sales tax, Whatnot commission on item only but processing on total, PlayerLots on lot price only. The most honest framing is total dollars deducted from the seller per transaction. eBay figures verified August 19, 2026 against eBay's published selling fees.
8% of your lot price. That's it for the platform fee. It includes payment processing - there is no separate Stripe or credit card charge. Your only other deduction is a flat $1 shipping contribution on BMWT lots - the same on every order, regardless of distance.
Platform commission and payment processing (Stripe). We absorb the processing cost so you see one clean fee. No separate line items for credit card processing, transaction fees, or payment handling.
Lot price only. If you list a $25 lot and the buyer pays $30.50 total ($25 + $5.50 Standard shipping), our fee is $2.00 (8% of $25), not 8% of the total. Your flat $1 shipping contribution is a separate line.
On a $5 lot, our 8% fee would be $0.40. The $0.50 minimum brings it to $0.50 on $5 lots only. Any lot where the natural 8% exceeds $0.50 pays the percentage with no minimum adjustment.
Your 8% rate is locked through the end of 2027 with your Founding Membership. After that, your rate moves to our published launch rate. We will never raise your rate during the lock period.
9% flat on lot price. Still all-inclusive of payment processing. Still meaningfully lower than eBay (13.25% of the total sale plus a per-order fee) and comparable to Whatnot (8% + ~3% processing) without requiring live streams.

For BMWT lots ($20+), yes. The platform generates the shipping label and sends it to you. This ensures every package is tracked consistently and protects both buyer and seller. For PWE lots (under $20), you buy your own stamp and mail it yourself.
Lot prices go from $5 to $100 in $5 increments. You can list as many lots as you want. Your 8% founding rate applies to every sale through the end of 2027.
Yes. There is no exclusivity requirement. Most of our sellers cross-list and treat PlayerLots as an additional channel. We are not asking you to leave anywhere you are already selling.
You can stop listing at any time. There is no contract, no cancellation fee, and no minimum commitment. If the 9% launch rate does not work for you after your founding lock ends, no hard feelings.
When you become a Founding Member, your account is tagged with an 8% rate locked through the end of 2027. That rate is stored in your account settings and visible in your seller dashboard. It cannot change during that period.
We are a smaller, focused marketplace. We do not run TV ads, we do not maintain a vault, and we do not support 50 product categories. We do one thing - fixed-price baseball card player lots - and we keep our overhead low enough to charge 8% all-in. If that changes as we grow, we will adjust the launch rate, but Founding Members keep their locked rate.
